AFENET through its staff deployment provided technical support to the Presidential Task Force in developing policies, guidelines and strategic direction. The deputy incident Manager for the technical arm of the PTF and the alternate lead for surveillance and Epidemiology functional pillar as well as the laboratory pillar were NFELTP graduates and AFENET Staff respectively. AFENET staff and NFELTP graduates lead on daily PTF technical meetings and provide daily summary to the PTF national Coordinator to guide the overall national response. They provided an active linkage between NCDC surveillance unit and the PTF technical group
