Mrs. Bezawit Feleke Kibret

Mrs. Bezawit Feleke Kibret is the Senior Administrator for National Stop Transmission of Polio (NSTOP) program of African Field Epidemiology Network (AFENET) country office in Nigeria.

Mrs. Kibret leads the administrative function comprising planning, budgeting, organizing, execution and reporting of human, financial and infrastructural resources required for effective and efficient programme implementation. She provides expert advice to the leadership of the program to arrive at optimum and informed decisions on a wide range of strategic management issues.

Mrs. Kibret also coordinates with national authorities, partners, and various departments of the programme for optimum management of resources through integration of plans and budgets, timely preparation of donor deliverables in the form of grant proposals and reports, and ensuring compliance and accountability by fostering adherence to established rules, policies and procedures. She plays pivotal role in organizing a number of high-level international conferences within and outside of the country.

Mrs Kibret holds BA in Economics from Addis Ababa University and Postgraduate Honours degree in Development Studies from the University of South Africa. She has also obtained certificates for completing trainings in Risk Management and Grants Management.
