An insightful, dynamic and performance-driven medical doctor with over fifteen (15) years’ experience in the field of medicine at clinical, public health and policy making levels. A well-trained medical and field epidemiologist, a graduate of the Nigeria Field Epidemiology Program (FELTP) and a public health specialist with Master’s degree in Public Health (MPH), Master’s degree in Public Administration (MPA) and a PhD Public Health. Had undergone various professional trainings and experiences on HIV Quality Improvement, surveys/surveillance, incidence study, key population, Monitoring and Evaluation, HIV Care & Support, Organization/Program and Grant management in Government, non-Government and donor driven environments. He has wealth of experience in implementation of several Health-related projects and has coordinated the National HIV Quality Improvement Program and the conduct of various HIV surveys in the 36 states and the Federal Capital Territory including the Nigeria HIV/AIDS Indicator and Impact survey (NAIIS) nationally and the state specific ones in Kaduna, Lagos and other states. Strong and coordinated leadership qualities demonstrated in various programmes and organizations. He has experience with management of Grants from PEFFAR and The Global Funds to fight AIDS, Tuberculosis and Malaria. Well published with scientific papers, abstracts, presentations and technical reports. He is a fellow of the Corporate Administrators Institute, fellow of the Institute of Management Consultants and a certified management Consultant. He is also a member of various National Health Committees.
